Getting Started with EduKit Insight

Thank you for signing up to EduKit Insight.

This support article will introduce Edukit Insight and show you how easy it is to get started and run a wellbeing survey at your school.

In just 3 easy steps you can be getting your students to complete surveys.

1 - Upload students

If you have opted for a MIS connector (Wonde) then you will already have students inside EduKit Insight. However, if you haven’t you can easily upload the student names.

Choose the Student Admin menu and then Upload. The file to upload will be a csv (comma separated values) file. It will have a row for every student at your school, and will include the name, gender and year group. More detail on this is available in our CSV Upload support article.

2 - Create Survey Links

Next navigate to Survey Admin and then Survey password. Here you can set a password for all students.

They will enter this to start the survey.

Now you just need a web url for the students to go to. Choose Configure in the Survey Admin menu. Click Create New Survey Group, and then choose a survey (Autumn, Spring or Summer) and a year group. If you would like each student to have to enter a unique 4 digit pin, tick the Survey Pins box. On submit you will be presented with a short url, and if you have chosen pins, you can download a pdf of these here.

3 - Start the Survey

The web url and the school password you created can now be shared that with your students.
